The Tenth of the Eleventh
I hate September 11. I hate it with a passion. No, it’s not some Scrooge-like grudge against the anniversary, but it’s a date that takes me right back and I hate those feelings of grief and disbelief and hope that I know has none of its own. I watch the commemorations and I question the validity of my own feelings. After all, aside from metal aguish, my life wasn’t interrupted....

topherchris: bestrooftalkever: Someday, I want to be The Roots. The best show I ever saw live was The Roots. They did a long set at the GRAMMYs after-party in February, and I made sure I was directly in front of the stage for the entire thing. These guys are true musicians, with really serious chops. It was truly a magical, almost spiritual experience. I was also very drunk.
